Our Thanksgiving Softball Tournament took place in November 2024 at the Connacht GAA Sports Dome in Bekan, Mayo. The event saw 8 teams from across Ireland, including Mayo, Limerick, Galway, Dublin, Belfast, and Navan, competing in a full-day tournament. The teams battled it out for the coveted prizes: the Cup, Plate, Bowl, and the infamous Turkey Spoon.

The winners were:

• Cup: Ori-ginals
• Plate: Mayo Madres
• Bowl: Frankengobblers
• Turkey Spoon: Limerick Knights

A special mention goes to the Mayo Softball Madres and Limerick Softball Knights for participating in their very first tournament—an exciting debut for both teams!

After the competition, many players gathered at The McWilliam Park Hotel in Claremorris for a lively afterparty, where discussions of team performances flowed just as freely as the drinks. The atmosphere was full of laughter, camaraderie, and plenty of reflections on the day's action. A fantastic conclusion to a memorable tournament!
